Terms and Conditions

Initial Assessment: All new clients must undergo a free "meet and greet" before the first booking to ensure pet compatibility.
Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered "confirmed" once the Service Agreement is signed and any required deposit is paid.

Rates: Fees are as quoted at the time of booking. I reserve the right to review rates annually.
Payment Schedule: For dog walking, payment is due [e.g., weekly in arrears/at the time of booking]. For pet sitting, a [e.g., 25%] non-refundable deposit is required to secure the dates.

Dog Walking: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full rate.
Pet Sitting: Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours will require payment of the full balance.
Inclement Weather: Walks will proceed in rain unless conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., extreme heat, lightning). If I cancel due to weather or illness, no fee will be charged.

Vaccinations: Owners must provide proof that pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments.
Aggression: Owners must disclose any history of aggression. I reserve the right to terminate the contract immediately if a pet poses a danger to me or others.
Off-Lead Policy: Dogs will only be walked off-lead with written consent from the owner and only in areas I deem safe.

In the event of a medical emergency, I will attempt to contact the owner immediately.
If the owner is unreachable, I am authorised to seek veterinary care. All costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.

I maintain professional Pet Business Insurance, including Public Liability.
I cannot be held liable for damage to the owner’s property or injury to the pet caused by the pet’s own actions or pre-existing conditions.
